I get an error that says "Client not found". You probably have an old version of BioExplorer. Inner Tube & Particle Editor require BioExplorer 1.3 or above. To check your BioExplorer version open BioExplorer and go to "Help -> About BioExplorer...". You can download the latest version of BioExplorer from http://www.cyberevolution.com/. Inner Tube & Particle Editor require the full (not trial) version of BioExplorer
I get an error that says "Failed to
Connect to Client".
Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of BioExplorer (1.3 or above) from http://www.cyberevolution.com/.
Also make sure that when you first run BioExplorer, Inner Tube and Particle Editor you allow these programs to connect to the Internet (which allows them to connect to eachother via local internet protocols) by clicking "Unblock", "Always Allow" or "Permit Always" if a security alert appears from Windows, Norton, or another firewall (see detailed instructions). If you already clicked "block" or "don't allow" reinstall BioExplorer or change your blocking settings.
I am having trouble connecting to
BioExplorer.
See above. Also please download and install the latest version of BioExplorer from http://www.cyberevolution.com/
How do I use the SomaticVision.bxd design? The SomaticVision.bxd allows you to reward any one frequency band and inhibit any one or two frequency bands. To begin open the SomaticVision.bxd design (in BioExplorer) and set your reward and inhibit bands. You can go to ‘Tools->Filters’ to adjust the frequency bands (12-15 Hz, etc.) then double click on the band you want to change (and enter your values) or click once and use the arrow keys (left-lower, right-higher, up-wider, down-narrower). Set both the Low and High inhibits to the same range if you wish to only use a single inhibit. The inhibits and the reward thresholds are set to auto-threshold (percent success). You can adjust the percent success of the thresholds by double-clicking a threshold object in the Signal Diagram and changing the ‘Auto Target (Percent Success)’ value. The default low and high inhibits are broad, covering 0.5Hz – 38.0Hz. The default reward is 12.0Hz – 15.0Hz.
I am having difficulties registering Particle Editor / Inner Tube.
1. In order to register you must have purchased a serial number. The serial number looks something like "00018-7G4D9ABD0D1J”. A serial number will only register a product on a single computer. If you wish to use multiple computers you must purchase multiple serial numbers.
2. Open the Somatic Vision Product Registration by going to "Start Menu->Programs->{Your Product}->Register" (or if the trial has ended just press "Yes" to activate when asked to activate).
3. Enter the serial number in the "Product Serial Number" box.
4. The product name, computer code and product status will all automatically fill in when you enter a valid serial number.
5. Click the button "www.somaticvision.com/registration/" to register on line with this computer. If the computer you are using does not have internet access you will need to write down the computer code and serial number, go to another computer (with internet), and go to "www.somaticvision.com/registration".
6. Enter your details and press "Unlock Product". Write down the unlock code you receive.
7. Enter the unlock code into the "Enter unlock code" section of the Somatic Vision Product Registration and press "Submit Registration ". Make sure to enter the unlock code into the one computer you want to unlock (if you got the code using another computer’s internet access switch back to the original computer to enter the unlock code).
Inner Tube runs slowly on my secondary monitor in a two monitor set up. Complex real-time 3D games are generally required to be run on the monitor set as your "Primary" monitor. If you have a fast enough system (Pentium IV 3 Ghz) with a good recent ATI or NVIDIA system it may run well even on the secondary monitor.
