Hi,
We have made a new update the enables saving high data rate respiration files.
http://www.somaplay.com/updates/GP8/EA/ ... _3.2.4.exe
If you are using Alive 3.2.4 or higher you should be able to save high data rate respiration.
Best,
Ryan Deluz

Re: How is Somatic Vision Smoothness Calculated? (HRV)
Hi Will, Breathing with an outside pacer is fine. Smoothness is calculated based on the heart rate data only. We aren't calculating a correlation to the pacer. People are feel to breathe however they like, looking at, or not looking at, the pacer. As long as the heart rate wave is smooth you get a h...

Re: wireless controller
Hi Armin, Thanks for that information about the controller. If the controller is blinking, showing that no connection is established, this means that your computer is not able to, or configured to, connect to that controller. I've done a little more research, and its possible that Bluetooth controll...

Re: wireless controller
Hi Armin,
We tested with XBox controllers, including a wireless (but not Bluetooth) version. Please make sure the controller is connected before starting Dual Drive 2 (in the original Dual Drive, this sort of controller might not work).
Best,
Ryan

Encrypting Alive User and Session Data - HIPPA
You can encrypt the Alive user and session data, for example to meet HIPPA requirements. Alive 3.0.4 or greater is required to encrypt the Alive user and session data. This data is normally stored unencrypted in your Documents folder / Alive Sessions. WINDOWS PART 1 - CREATE AN ENCRYPTED FILE STORE ...

Re: Problems with iFeel USB
Hi, You must detach your iFeel device from your computer before installing Alive or installing its drivers. If you've installed Alive 3.0.3 (the full installer) you will have a file iFeel_USB_Driver_Setup.exe in your Program Files (x86)\Alive folder. Older versions of Alive may have the file as C:\P...

Re: How Smooth is Smooth?
Hi Richard, The new BioSignals sensor is available as a beta, but we sent the beta back to be redesigned. The box was bigger than necessary, too light (strange but true), and we are adding support for temperature. I guess 1st qtr 2019. I'm glad you are loving the iFeel Sensor. This new sensor will u...

Re: How Smooth is Smooth?
Also, I have to say that although LF/HF is the closest thing to Smoothness, it isn't exactly how we measure Smoothness. It is highly correlated though and can be used for what you want, as can increasing the Smoothness difficulty. The way we analyze the frequency bands is optimized beyond just LF/HF...
